The movie was wooooahh.. Let's not talk about the storyline but the effects were really woooahh~~ in a good way.

The 3D animation and all the angles were captured in the most flattering way. The production wasn't produced by the big animation companies. However, Steven Spielberg was one of the executive producers so I figured it must be really good.

The effect were indeed good, but storyline so-so.

It was about this boy who has a weird neighbour, Mr Nebercracker? who lived opposite him. This Mr N was unable to tolerate ppl trespassing his house and he will confiscate whatever that landed at his lawn etc, such as bicycles, drinks, bags, umbrellas... basically whatever.

He was really a Weirdo in the neighbourhood. The kids suspected the house eat things and wanted to find out what was going on, they called the police but they refuse to believe the kids?

Then they went inside and realised that Mr N has a freak wife who do not allow kids to come near their house. Somehow his wife died accidentally while he was building the house, so she was buried alive by the cement which fell onto her and somehow her soul was trapped in the house.

So angry wife = malicious spirit stuck with the house.

It turned out that Mr N was protecting the neighbourhood, otherwise the house would hurt the ppl, esp the kids.

So eventually the kids & him destroyed the house. Mr N watched his angry wife/spirit disappeared with the house. And all the things which the house ate? confiscated were returned to the kids. The neighbourhood was peaceful again....

It's supposed to be a feel-good kinda show I guess. Happy ending :)
